Full Product Description
Love Is… exposes the commonly understood meaning of ‘true love’ and gets to the heart of what love really is.
This 6-week Bible study, aimed directly at teenage girls, looks at the best example of love this world has ever seen – Jesus. Through reading this insightful, engaging and motivating book girls will discover that God’s idea of love is far more than they could ever imagine… it’s all-consuming, unrelenting and far better than any Rom-Com could ever capture!
If Jenna Lucado is sure of anything, she is sure of this, “I have a deep calling on my life to give hope to teenage girls.” What started out as a heart to encourage teen girls has now blossomed into a ministry.
Daughter of best-selling Christian author Max Lucado, Jenna has realised that she has inherited a passion for writing and speaking just like her dad. She is part of the Revolve Tour, an event for teen girls that includes a line-up of Christian artists like Natalie Grant, as well as speaker and author, Chad Eastham and many more.
Her debut book, Redefining Beautiful, was released in September 2009. Jenna has also narrated part of Thomas Nelson’s Word of Promise: Next Generation.
Through all the projects that she is overseeing, Jenna is driven by the thought of one more girl hearing about the love of Jesus.

Each week girls will do an in-depth study of one of Jesusí relationships described in the Bible. By examining the way Jesus interacted with others, they will see the perfect example of love. Through four repetitive phases Ė read, realise, respond and retain Ė teen girls will learn a method of studying the Bible that they can apply to any Scripture passage and that will motivate them to read more frequently and independently in the future.
By analysing the Bible stories, each girl will in turn be able to analyse her own relationships to see if they are based on Godís idea of love, and will walk away with a deeper understanding of the love relationship God seeks to have with her.
