They now live within a few houses of some of their 13 grandchildren in Memphis Tennessee. Jack has lost all of his natural family losing two brothers, a sister, as well as his mother and father. He experienced the wonder of Hospice people as he experienced the death of his Mother and Brother. He vowed to pay back that gift as indeed he has in being a Hospice Chaplain, which has culminated with his book Living Before Dying
