This is a terrific CD - what a find
I was given this CD "Light Divine" by this unknown singer/songwriter Val Goldsack as a gift for my 25th jubilee and I can't tell you how delighted I am with it. The music is all deeply prayerful and scripture based with an accoustic folk type presentation - Val Goldsack's alto voice is SO different from any other in this genre. Quite simply, it is a marvellous CD of liturgical music (psalms, canticles and other sacred songs) - and I heartilly recommend it. Every blessing, Joan

I found this CD a prayerful experience, very moving and quite unique. The music and voice is soulful almost vunerable, I loved it.
I love this CD - it is refeshingly good
I love this CD collection of Val Goldsack songs - I have other CDs of her work but this one is easily the best, beautifully produced. The Magnificat is quite simply, wonderful - and if you like that 'personal' touch when listening to music, then you will like this CD.
This CD is beautiful
The gentle guitar style and soulful voice of Val Goldsack makes prayer so natural. I have not heard anything quite like this before, it is truly beautiful, I recommend it for personal listening and group prayer.

I bought this CD on the basis of the reviews on this page. I didn't find it as good as these other people but it might be to your taste.
What a prayerful experience
I found this CD so helpful as an aid to prayer and meditation, so peaceful and thought invoking. A most enjoyable experience.
An extremely prayerful and peaceful CD
I find this CD very prayerful in both the deeply scriptural songs and also in its gentle and tender presentation. Many psalms presented freshly and delicately by Val Goldsack. Beautiful.
