This emotion-filled book, written by his parents Margret and Brain Mizen, tells the story of Jimmy’s last day and the devastating effect that rippled through the family and local community. On that dreadful day Jimmy’s attacker released anger – now the Mizen’s release peace.

The Jimmy Mizen Foundation – Jimmy’s parents set up this charity in his name as a positive way to remember their son. They run awareness projects, speak in schools and prisons, commissioned ‘Jimmy Buses’ to transport local young people, and run a community café in South London.

The City Safe Havens Scheme – Empowers young people to work with shop keepers to provide places of safety in the city. This scheme encourages communication between young people, over 350  local business within London, and the police by providing safe havens for anyone who feels under threat or intimidated.

Families United – Brings together family’s who have lost a child to violent crime, to grieve together, to campaign, and to be a voice to for change in government policy and our society.
