Jacob I have Loved
Full Product Description
Jacob I Have Loved is far more than a mere biblical overview of the story of Jacob. It is an outstanding illustration of Godís desire to utterly transform our fallen inner nature. Despite a twisted, deceiving, sinful heart Jacob nonetheless inherited Godís richest blessings and became one of the patriarchís of our faith. Herein lays one of the bibleís great mysteries.
The amazing truth is that Jacobís name has not been lost in the debris of human history, nor has it been forgotten, as have so many other names. Incredibly, it is forever linked with God. His story is an integral part of the history of divine redemption. This book is about the power of God to transform a human life. Jacobís story is our story.
Little in our lives today is more important and more needed than personal spiritual growth. I am convinced that Lance Lambertís discernment (and humor) in this account of Godís dealings with Jacob are worth a thousand sermons. Of all his books and Bible teachings, I regard this as the apex, the spearhead, the most important of all else that Lance has shared in his worldwide teaching ministry.
Jacob I have Loved by Lance Lambert was published by Sovereign World in October 2007 and is our 25569th best seller. The ISBN for Jacob I have Loved is 9781852404765.

Jacob is one of the mose important characters from the book of Genisis with his name change to Israel. Knowing that Lance Lambert is one of the leading pro-Israel voices it would be easy to dismiss this book as another title concerning the Middle East. To do so would be to miss the reality of the teaching hidden within its pages. The question tackled in this book is about what had to happen to Jacob for him to earn the name change that he recieved. By looking at the life of Jacob – his being spoilt by his mother, his deception of Esau, his being decieved by Laban, to his wrestling with God – Lambert pulls out points which can be applied to our lives in the Twenty First century. Jacob, I Have Loved is a truely Biblical self help book, and shows why the Old Testament is as relevant to the Church as the New Testament.
