Theological overview / summary from an evangelical perspective - Holger Szesnat, Cambridge
Fee and Stuart provide this book as a companion to their wildly successful 'How to read the Bible for all its worth. Whereas the latter concentrates on the approach one might take to the broad genres of biblical writings, this book is essentially a theological overview: a walk through the Bible, 'book by book', as seen through the lense of a US-American evangelical perspective informed by the author's particular take on historical context. In a way, it reminded me of the German theological tradition of 'bible knowledge' - a test that all theology students have to take to demonstrate their familiarity with the Scriptures. As long as you want the particular theological lens that Fee/Stuart offer, this is a good book.
