How Did Jesus Feel?

Emotions are messy and very human. So was Jesus. While the author selected good emotions to write about, he writes about them in an all-too-rational light. At times he's just preaching at you. Writing in this way, to me, downplays Christ's passions. On the up side, the short prayers at the end of each chapter where helpful. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he wrote this book. FEW books are written about God's feelings! But the author's writing did not help me connect with Jesus' humanity. He helped me think more, but not feel more. And for me, that was why I bought the book!
