Hold Fast To Your Dreams
Full Product Description
'Hold Fast to Your Dreams' is George Lee’s dream-chasing, dream-catching story. It’s a story of humble beginnings, coming to faith, determined vision and a soaring journey through blue skies that includes piloting Royal Air Force Phantom fighter jets, winning three World Gliding Championships titles, and taking HRH Prince Charles on his first gliding flights. This intensely personal account is witness to an ordinary man’s passionate pursuit of extraordinary dreams that lead him through the clouds of Europe, Asia, and the United States as well as into the back streets of Hong Kong and the halls of Buckingham Palace.
From his beginnings in Ireland, George Lee strongly believes that people’s choices determine their destinies. This high-flying and motivating true-life adventure is full of remarkable achievements as well as disappointments on which the author builds his exciting life of success and dream fulfilment.
George Lee has been a pilot for most of his life, having flown Phantoms in the Royal Air Force until the age of 38 and then B747s for Cathay Pacific Airways for fifteen years based in Hong Kong. A glider pilot for forty nine years he became the first person in history to win three consecutive World Gliding Championships titles.
George’s Christian faith is central to his life. His wife, Maren shares that faith and the couple are Elders (Church Leaders) in a small but close-knit church in Dalby, Queensland, Australia. Dreams can be very powerful. Some may be without substance, even insignificant — but then there are the dreams that deeply impact the very core of your being. Hold fast to these!
Hold Fast To Your Dreams by George Lee was published by Destiny Image in March 2013. The ISBN for Hold Fast To Your Dreams is 9788897896210.
