Health, Healing and Wholeness

There is much already written on the pastoral signi­fi­cance of the Church's health and healing ministry, but there is nothing quite like this book.

Health, Healing and Wholeness is written to recognise and fulfil the need for a book which can be the basis for study groups in the ever-increasing number of churches who want to discover more about the healing ministry, and who then want to put it into practice in simple but significant ways.

Individuals also have written to the author, requesting suggestions for a course of study to pursue at home. This book, with some questions for reflection inset in the text and a series of questions at the end of each chapter, will meet both needs. The acts of worship and devotion which follow each of the main chapters will have both a personal and a corporate use, suit­able for public worship, quiet days and retreats.

Howard Booth is also the author of Pilgrims Make Progress . He has served as Chairman of the Methodist Church's Pastoral and Healing Committee, and as its Health and Healing Advisor. Throughout the years he has conducted hundreds of conferences, quiet days, seminars and retreats, and still continues to do so.
