Hannah's ChildSimon Iredale, via The Good Book Stall
I read this book from the viewpoint of someone who was neither of Professor Hauerwas’ Christian tradition nor American. Perhaps for both these very reasons I found much of interest in his approach to the experiences of his own life and that of the culture in which he has been formed as a person. I was struck by the writer’s humanity and compassion. It is a strong recommendation for theology of a particular kind, that which recognizes God as the source of being and creation as profoundly loved.
