God's Book of Wisdom

Wouldn't it be great if you had a secret book to tell you everything you needed to know for the future? This book would tell you how to stay out of trouble. It would teach you how to make really good friends. You could find out about all the dangerous things in life and how to avoid them. What a wonderful book that would be!

God's word - the Bible - is just this sort of book. But it isn't a secret. God wants you to know about the best way to live. He wants you to obey him and follow in his ways. The book of Proverbs is a wonderful part of the bible that has loads of wisdom and handy tips in it for life survival. It's a must read for anyone who wants to follow God and avoid the pitfalls.

There is then a daily section with Read and Understand to help explain what the verse is saying; Look at Yourself to see what you need to do to become more like Christ; Prayer to show the importance of communicating with God.
