I was praying and meditating one day before the Christmas day on my bed about what God would have me to do in the coming year - asking God for direction. The Lord reminded me of one of my habits, how I will write my notes during church services, revivals and bible studies, and how I will create a section for further studies on the theme of the sermon. God made me to realize that He gave his Word and spoke his Word to us his people but after each service or sermon we never meditate or work on his instructions. That if his people would meditate on his word, they will have success in all areas of their life, because his word transforms through revelation. How can we get the benefit of a medicine we keep in the cabinet that we never used? The book of Habakkuk 2 verse 1 talks about while we are looking and waiting on what the Lord will say to us, verse says that the Lord says write the vision down. The word of God gives us and creates vision but sometimes we receive revelation after. Joshua 1 verse 8 tells us "Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."
