Description

Glimpses of Glory reflects young hearts crying out to God - "Lord, show us Your Glory". Worship was led by Tim Hughes, Martyn Layzell, Matt Redman, Phatfish, Heat and David Gate.

Included on this years live album, are some excellent songs from Tim Hughes: Beautiful one and Consuming Fire, where he is joined by the Psalm Drummers. A great live version of Matt Redman's Blessed be Your name and the anthemic Agnus Dei are also included. Anyone who has been to Soul Survivor will know how powerful the ministry times are and it is fitting that the album ends with a spontaneous song, God of Comfort, which was sung over people while they were being ministered to.

Martyn Layzell introduces two fantastic songs: Praise You and Sovereign Lord, Matt Redman leads the tender Befriended, which builds into the chorus of Let my words be Few. Phatfish are featured on the explosive To You, King Jesus, as well as providing the perfect backing for Matt and Martyn. There are also wonderful new songs from Heat and David Gate.

Sonically this album has such a big sound, and will serve as an excellent reminder for those who were at the festival, as well as providing a glimpse of the worship for those who weren’t.
