Defining Jesus is about the semantic content of the name Jesus. To what does the name refer, especially when modifying adjectives are attached, such as ""the historical Jesus,"" ""the Jesus of history,"" ""the earthly Jesus,"" ""the biblical Jesus,"" ""the real Jesus""?
