Margaret Rizza studied at the Royal College of Music, London and the National School of Opera, London; she completed her operatic training in Siena and Rome. Having sang professionally for 25 years she went on to teach singing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, from 1977 to 1994. In 2001 she was made an Associate of the Royal School of Church Music. Her many other recordings include New Dawn, Silence of the Soul, Awakening in Love, Fountain of Love and Light in our Darkness. She now works full-time composing and giving retreats, prayer and music days and choral workshops.
