A rewarding read
What does the death of Jesus Christ really mean? This book deals with this theme in the form of a highly logical and detailed treatment of the teachings of Christ regarding His own death. The book examines various aspects of the atonement within the context of the framework of conservative, reformed theology. The logic of the book is profoundly Biblical, although some may feel that the structure of the book is somewhat contrived and does not allow the Biblical texts to speak for themselves. Nevertheless, this book is a rewarding read and will do much to increase understanding of a difficult theological theme. One for the serious reader.
