Carol: A Story of ChristmasMary Bartholomew, via The Good Book Stall
Jack O’Malley is an American but he could be any nationality in the affluent West. He was in a bad mood – he usually was! Fifty years old, divorced, always on the look out for a woman, even when supposed to be Christmas shopping, the woman he meets this time is rather more than he bargained for. Carol is thirty-ish and beautiful but not what she seems. In A Christmas Carol style, she takes Jack backwards and forwards in time to show him how in his youth he had wanted to be someone who made a difference in the world, and what he had actually become and could be in the future. As an annual reader of A Christmas Carol I picked up this small book with some trepidation, but Bob Hartman is a master storyteller and I was soon hooked.

I am thinking of this book as a Christmas present for an elderly Christian lady who does not appreciate sex scenes in a book. Are there any bedroom scenes in this book?
