A great Bible overview for kids. - Jenny the vicar's wife
In the last 12 years since my eldest child was born we have read a LOT of Bible storybooks in our family. This definitely stands out as one of the best. This book is not the sort to teach in detail the stories of the old testament heroes, or the miracles and parables of Jesus - there are many great books which do that very well. What this book does is to show clearly the way the Bible fits together as one big story, and how, from Genesis to Revelation, everything points towards Jesus as the fulfillment of God's promises. In addition (and probably more importantly!) my four year old can't wait to get into his pyjamas each evening so that we can get onto the next chapter!

Absolutely agree with the previous reviewer. We've got more than 20 Bible storybooks and this one is the best. It helps the kids to understand the Bible as a whole and actually to know more about God. Everything is pointing to Jesus. My son and daughter love it (they're 4 and 2 years old). They can't wait to get to the next chapter every night!
