Creative WorshipMelanie Carroll, via The Good Book Stall
Don't worry though there is no slipping on banana skins going on, just somewhat cheesy skits utilizing ideas like a game show host.
They are not all slapstick either. The sketches are broken down into slapstick, storytelling, signs & symbols, surrogacy, and slant-looking from a different angle. Between them, they cover the major church themes and festivals as well as more ordinary services.
They are well presented with discussions of the theme, suggested songs and prayers and bible links-and that's before you get to the bit where it all but gives you the order of service and words you can use as a lead in. It of course gives a suggestion of age appropriate activities too.
A great addition to any service leaders shelf-and pretty good for youth and childrens workers too, even if they don't give services, for some of the creative ideas inside.
