The Amazing Catch of FishSue Cooper, via The Good Book Stall
This little book which is one of a series entitled Stories to Remember, is a collection of three charmingly and simply told stories from the life of Jesus and the Early Church. The first story concerns the amazing catch of fish Peter, James and John made when Jesus accompanied them out on to the waters and following which they became his disciples. The second story is that of the conversion of Zacchaeus, the tax collector; the third account is of the gift of tongues which was granted to Jesus’ followers so they could spread the word. The accompanying illustrations are clear and the book contains an invitation to the young listeners to join in and tell a story about Jesus, themselves.
Suitable for use with children aged 5-7 in a school or Sunday school situation.
Also available as Big Book (A3 size) with teacher’s notes. at £15.99, sale price Oct 2010 £8.00
