Not as 'child-friendly' as said
I found these Bibles very different than what I thought they were going to be. The print is extremely small and NOT suitable for someone at a 3rd grade reading level. The words of Christ are not in red. And there are memory verses, but they seem quite long for a young person. And I wasn't as impressed with the maps as I thought I would be. However, the wording is clear and I think that the ICB is a good version.
