About This paperback

There is no pain like parental pain and the love of a parent for a child is like no other. Our children can disappoint us, hurt us, even abuse us but somehow we cannot stop loving them. And yet as much as we love them we cannot live their lives for them. Our children make choices, and sometimes these choices are bad ones, yet so often we feel the guilt ourselves.;But is it possible that we have made prodigals of some of our children who never turned their backs on God at all - just on some pseudo-caricature of the Church and discipleship?;This book is a call for parents to be released from guilt, for the church to repent of the part it has played and for prayer that the prodigals will come home.

Quick read - Jo, Retail Sales Manager, Eden.co.uk

Most of us know all to well the story of the Prodigal Son. He takes and squanders his inheritance then comes back tale between his legs only to receive the most amazing welcome much to the annoyance of the brother who has been the perfect son. Rob Parsons does a fabulous job at providing us with an interpretation that can really make a difference to our families and churches today, whether as a parent of a prodigal or a jealous sibling in Christ there is a lot of good advice in this little book. (Give it a go it's only 116 pages)
