About This board book
This board book for very young children introduces them to some of God's other children and points out the differences among them. It gently encourages the young child to look beyond his immediate environment and known world and to discover more of God's creation. It also clearly identifies Jesus as Savior, who died and rose again on Easter as our Redeemer.
Developed for children ages 1 to 4, this book depicts scenes and people from everyday life that will show the young reader God's wonderful creativity. The illustrations show a variety of children; the text explains that all people are created by God and that Jesus came as their Savior. Each page states a biblical truth in simple, child-friendly language and illustrates it by showing things young children will recognize and understand. This will help toddlers begin to individuate--that is, to begin to see themselves and others as separate and unique.
