God Speaks through the Silence
As you read this you are probably listening to something. This DVD from Nooma starts with you looking out from a TV screen listening to the tv's noise. Suddenly the screen goes blank...silence...and then words appear. Words that draw you into God's prescence through silence. I used these in house groups and everyone has been struck by the power of silence and the need to create space with God. As the tv screen comes back on the noise increases and the DVD ends all everybody wanted to do was remain silent. This is a powerful piece of material which connects us with God. You might have thought Nooma was for young people and twenty somethings, having used this I would recommend it to everyone whatever their age.
