63
63 by Tree63 was published by Survivor Kingsway in July 1999 and is our 21307th best seller. The ISBN for 63 is SURCD037.
Tree63 recorded their first album (63) with Survivor in 1999. at Northwind Recording in Kloof, just outside Durban, in South Africa. The album contained what would prove to be Tree’s first national radio hits in South Africa, as well as the material that eventually attracted US record companies. The album proved that Tree did indeed have something special to offer. Unreservedly rock n’ roll, yet fresh and compelling, and unabashed about its spiritual message and Christian convictions, the award-winning album spawned the hits A Million Lights, Stumbling Stone and Treasure (#2, #1 and #1 respectively on South African mainstream Top 40 charts).

Good enough for mainstream - Oxford
For once in my life, I find myself actually enjoying Christian music for its emotional sincerity. Tree 63 have found that perfect medium between generic unfeeling indie and soggy Christian rock. Their songs are potent, and believable, and they cover parts of faith that haven't been covered before, not even by - shockhorror! - Delirious. Good enough for a distinction in the Christian music scene.
even more than just a super album- it's almost a relationship - Alice: a student in Bristol but from Folkestone
My sister has it(on tape!), I borrowed it two years ago and have only just given it back... it was such a wrench to do that, it's so good. It has been an integral album in (cough cough)"my" collection and definately my most played, now all I have to do is buy it for myself. Buy it or you are missing out, in all earnestness. It is beautiful music that says things we have all felt but not many of us have expressed. It's fabulous to sing in the shower!
