NRSV Bible

The NRSV Bible, also known as New Revised Standard Version has been praised and is a much-admired Bible by many academics and church leaders, stating that it is a Bible that is suitable for all Christians. The NRSV Bible was translated by a team of 30 American academics ranging from various protestant denominations, such as Roman Catholic Church and the Greek Orthodox Church. The NRSV is also available in three different formats, including the Apocryphal version, Catholic Edition and the NRSV standard edition.

The NRSV Bible is similar to the KJV Bible in terms of it literal translations, as the NRSV Bible attempts to set a new standard for 21^st Century Bible readers. It translates in a way that is simple and easy to read, as it is as literal as it could possibly be, in terms of keeping to the historical context. The use of new sources, contribute to the creation of the NRSV, which tries to increase understanding of the some of the unclear text from original scripture.

The NRSV is an accurate and comprehendible version of the most historic book of all time, giving the reader a greater understanding and allowing for deep understanding of Gods Words. The language of the world has developed and so too has the way people understand and learn, this is why the NRSV is an important tool in terms of connecting with God in the 21^st Century.
