No AngelMary Bartholomew, via The Good Book Stall
A very pink book, so pink, I could not read the words on the back cover clearly but no matter: I was soon engrossed in the story. Charlotte, Eunice, Rachel and Abena hang out together, and go with their families to church and youth club, but it doesn’t mean much to them and soon they are behaving unpleasantly and dishonestly. First Abena refuses to join in, causing more unpleasantness, and Charlotte, known as Charlie, finds things increasingly difficult and worrying, what with the problems with her school friends and her step brother behaving badly too. Things are resolved after a fashion, but I look forward to another book to tell us more.
