Well what a book, simple yet profound, deep yet easy to understand. Bill Hybels has a winning way about him, mature yet practical.. this is a book for you however much you've learnt. you could change a life by just walking... recommended 'big style'!
Making difficult things seem easier - Tom, eager reader from Norway
Bill has a way of making seemingly difficult things more accessible. If you are like me, witnessing about your faith to other people feels difficult. Mainly because I tend to think they have zero interest in God, and that I could be their only chance to meet Him (or at least one of his ambassadors (=me)). Bill makes the threshold of witnessing a lot more easy. God is the one that saves people, not you or me. Be open and interested in other peoples lives, and eventually they will start to care about what matters to you, and listen to your experience with God. Be prepared to share your personal testimony in less than 2 minutes, and practise your story. Be natural. Don't worry about getting people from a 0 to 100% interest in God. Perhaps God only wants/needs you to bring them from 25 to 40% interest, and let others do the rest. The main thing is that everybody are able to smile and show an interest in a fellow being, we just need to walk across the room (one step at a time) and say 'Hi'. This book is for you that are scared of witnessing, or tired of trying to learn another 10-step-programmes-for-witnessing or if you are thinking that there must be an easy way of talking to people about this wonderful God and Saviour that we have....
