John Piper

American pastor and worldwide author, John Piper has produced books that have travelled across the world, being translated into various languages and being awarded with various accolades, including the Christian Book Award winner. At the age of 64, John has suffered his own personal difficulties, as he was diagnosed with cancer in the new year of 2006. Having had a speedy recovery later that year, John did not doubt his faith nor did he question his beliefs, but he grew from the experience, thanking God and he continues to create unique scripture that fills millions with wisdom and faith.

Piper expresses his views very broadly and profoundly in much of his work, being the faith of Christian Hedonism, where "God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him". He is inspired by God and has a defined relationship with the Lord, which he portrays in his work. He has lead sermons and written books, spreading the passion of God and of Jesus.
