Supporter Contact Team Member – Part time (15-30 hours) £16 – 20K pro rata (depending on experience) Here at World Vision we have hundreds of thousands of supporters, many of whom sponsor an individual child somewhere in the world – anywhere from Albania to Zimbabwe. These supporters are central to our work in fighting poverty and injustice, and our Supporter Contact team is the first point of contact turning interested callers into actual child sponsors. They are also the team that manage all the telephone communications that ensure excellent and ongoing relationships with supporters. If you are skilled and experienced in outbound telephone sales and customer service and would like to use these skills to help children & their communities all over the world, we’d love to hear from you! We are particularly interested in hearing from people who are passionate about our work and able to inspire the UK public to engage in and partner with us in reducing poverty and injustice. You’ll need to show us that you’re pro-active, energetic in your pursuit of new supporters, have an engaging telephone manner and a proven track record in sales and customer service. You will need excellent relational skills to develop rapport with Supporters to maintain and increase their level of financial and non-financial engagement. You’ll also need the ability to understand and maintain a wide breadth of information including WV’s Mission, Vision, Core Values including how our Christian faith motivates our work, and how the different areas of World Vision work together.
