| Salary | Including training costs and travel it is estimated that you will need between £5000 and £6000 per year. Like other Wycliffe members you are responsible for raising your own finance. This may seem a daunting prospect until you've talked to one or two of the 6000 Wycliffe members living this way. God has called many people to go, and many others to pray and give in order that the world might know him. |

| The New Testament has now been translated into the Tharaka language of Kenya and is nos available. But Bible translation isn't just about a book on a shelf. It is about seeing God's word working in people's lives. Working with our partners in the Kenyan organisation BTL, (Bible Translation and Literacy); insert into jobs values a team is currently helping get the Tharaka scriptures into the hands and hearts of the Tharaka people. Another team will be leaving for a different language group in Kenya in 2004. Please contact us for more details. |
