| Based on the success of the last five years, Children and Neighbourhoods in London has secured additional funding and is expanding throughout London. The Children and Neighbourhoods in London programme works in partnership with London and Quadrant Housing Trust. This post will give you the opportunity to develop your work with children and young people in a unique participation project. Recent initiatives have included a major conference with mayoral candidates and the creation of websites all led by young people. You will be working creatively with children and young people aged 6 - 17 on environment and design projects to ensure they are involved in the plans that effect them. You will involve children and young people in local decision-making, working with children at a local secondary school to re-design their playground. Plus, you will lead a project in the Plumstead area to look at the design of community spaces. |
