Recent initiatives have included a major conference with mayoral candidates and the creation of websites all led by young people. You will be working creatively with children and young people aged 6 - 17 on environmental and Agenda 21 projects to ensure they are involved in plans that affect them. You will ensure they are involved in local decision-making and their voices are heard. You will develop and lead a group of young editors to publish; Our Voice, a magazine by and for young people in Camden and assist young people to develop the content of the Live-n-Direct website ( www.live-n-direct.org.uk ). You must have a strong commitment to the capabilities and potential of young people plus a track record of working with them in an innovative and creative way. You will need a qualification at pre-professional level or equivalent work experience and have computer, web literacy and creative writing/journalism skills.
