| London This is an ideal opening for someone wanting to develop their account management skills in corporate fundraising. You will be joining a team responsible for the Society's corporate sector income. As part of this team you will develop and maintain long-term relationships with a range of clients. This will involve constantly identifying opportunities to 'trade up' the Society's portfolio of staff fundraising, sponsorship, promotional and project-led fundraising accounts and to generally maximise all areas of income to meet agreed targets. You will need a degree or relevant professional qualification and a minimum of three years’ experience of working with external clients. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also necessary, as well as the confidence to make presentations and represent the Society at board level. A flexible approach to managing a busy workload is vital. A basic understanding of the Charities Act Part II and contacts within the commercial sector would also be an advantage.
