| INF is an international Christian mission. 130 expatriates from 18 different countries work together with 520 Nepali staff in health and development projects or related support and administrative activities. INF seeks to have a wholistic and culturally sensitive approach in all its activities as it works in partnership with His Majesty's Government of Nepal, local communities, National Councils in 3 countries, other (I)NGOs and a wide variety of donors, evangelical churches and partner missions. Building on the foundation of almost 50 years of service in Nepal, INF has a renewed vision to increase its activities in the most remote and undeveloped areas of the country and to focus on those most disadvantaged sectors of society. There is also a determined effort to continue to increase the involvement of Nepali nationals in senior management and leadership. The successful candidate for the post of Executive Director will be able to provide clear and dynamic leadership in a context of political instability and a deteriorating security situation. He/she will face the challenge of facilitating unity and a sense of stability in the midst of a major process of decentralisation. He/she will be the spiritual leader of INF internationally as well as the team leader of a group of committed Directors. He/she will have excellent communication skills and will be an advocate for INF at local, national and international levels. The capacity to cope with a heavy work load and the ability to provide leadership in a crisis situation will be important. If you believe that God has equipped you and inspired you for this challenging and developing role, we would like to hear from you. Initially, please send a brief CV to the INF Personnel Director, Mr Jan Janssen. All candidates submitting an appropriate CV will receive further job details and data forms. |
