Christian Guild Holidays, a premier group of six hotels, requires a general manager for its Moorlands Hotel in Whitby. Occupying a commanding position of the west cliff, Moorlands stands in its own grounds with stunning views of the formidable coastal scenery. Reporting to the group managing director, the position carries overall responsibility for the smooth running of a 52 bed hotel where familiar faces and new guests are warmly welcomed. It will be the role of the applicant to ensure guests feel we have delivered beyond their expectations. The successful candidate will have relevant experience and appropriate management skills within the hotel/holiday sectors and be able to demonstrate a high level of both people and commercial expertise. In addition, the candidate should also be able to foster the established Christian ethos of the company.
