About Jesus Culture

Banning Liebscher launched the first Jesus Culture conference at Bethel Church in Redding, California in the summer 1999.  The heart of these youth gatherings was to serve the Church, leading young people to experience the radical love of God.  From the conferences it became clear that worship was a significant part of the Jesus Culture movement as the Lord began to use worship leaders, Kim Walker-Smith, Chris Quilala, Jake Hamilton and Melissa How to bring a generation into whole-hearted worship.

Jesus Culture Music is about igniting revival throughout the nations around the world.  Their heart is to compel the Body of Christ to be radical in living a life of worship that is motivated by the passion to see God receive the glory He is due.  They have a primary commitment to see people come into the presence of God and encounter His love and raw power through worship.
