Ordering
My order says "In progress", what does this mean?
Your order has been received and is being processed.
I have ordered the wrong title
If the cancel option is no longer on your account the title will be processed and posted within the next 24 hours. Please contact us for details on how to return the unopened goods. Once we receive the item we will be able to refund your card.
My order was shown as Posted but has now changed back to Order Taken / Processing / Packing - Why?
Very occasionally an error or an incident occurs at the point of despatch which means the original despatch is unlikely to reach you. If this is the case, rather than waiting the normal 15 day period for us to be sure that you will not receive the item we prefer to rollback your despatch and process it again. In these rare instances it is possible you may receive a duplicate copy of your item, although you should not be charged a second time. If you do receive a duplicate in this instance please follow the instructions shown above in 'I have received duplicates in my order'.

My card has been declined
Credit and Debit cards may be declined for a variety of reasons:
Your card may have expired - Update your details and your order will automatically be resubmitted.
New Customer or Changed Card Details - Please check all your card details as sometimes it is just a wrong number, expiry date or an issue number missing. Correct your details, by clicking 'Change Details' on the Account Details page, and your order will automatically be resubmitted.
You may have inadequate funds in your account - Please check with your bank, then go to the Declined Orders page and click on the Resubmit my orders button.
The bank may have carried out a random security test- If you can see no reason for your card to have been declined it is likely that you will simply need to speak to your bank in order to clear the security test status that has been applied to your card. You will then be able to continue using it to purchase online and via mail order. As your card is unlikely to work for such transactions until it has been cleared we strongly advise you to speak to your bank at your earliest opportunity. Despatch & Delivery
Delivery Costs
Delivery costs change from country to country.
Free Super Saver UK Delivery is by Royal Mail Second Class and most orders are despatched from our warehouse within 24 hours. Royal Mail aims to deliver Second Class mail by the 3rd working day after we have despatched it. Where free delivery is mentioned, it applies to UK orders only.
If you need your items in a hurry then you may choose from either Royal Mail First Class delivery for £2.39 (usually delivered the day after despatch from our warehouse) or Royal Mail Special Delivery for £7.95 (Guaranteed delivery on the day stated at the checkout). Selecting either method will not affect the date that items are despatched from our warehouse but will speed up delivery once your parcel is in the hands of Royal Mail.
Any additional delivery service selected will be taken as an agreement of a separate contract and cannot be refunded after despatch.
UK orders for goods with a total value of £5 or more currently qualify for Free UK delivery as detailed above. Orders for less than £5 will cost £0.99 for delivery and be delivered by Royal Mail 2nd Class Service unless another delivery service has been selected.
If you want to post overseas, we can show you delivery costs for your country if you select it from the menu next to the Delivery charge on the basket page. In a minority of cases, if your item is particularly expensive or heavy, there may be additional delivery costs to cover so we can send it in the most suitable way.

When will my order be despatched?
On the information page for every product on our site we display an estimated despatch time for the item.
Some items can be despatched on the same day these items show as "In Stock - Order before 4pm for same day despatch"
Most items are able to be despatched within 1-2 days and show as "In Stock - Usually despatched within 24 hours".
If an item is in stock with one of our suppliers then the stock availability on the product information page as "Stock Available" These orders will usually be despatched within 7 working days.
If we expect to get stock very soon but cannot give a guaranteed date for despatch the availability indicator will show as "Estimated Despatch: 7 - 21 Days".
If a product shows as "Out of Stock" we currently don't have a date when we will receive new stock. We do expect to get stock in the future so if you order an out of stock item we will try to get a estimated despatch date for you as soon as possible.
For orders where our Free UK Super Saver delivery option is selected we will try to send all of the items in your order in one parcel - this may result in a short delay of 1 - 2 days in despatch if the products you have ordered have different estimated despatch times. If, after 4 days the rest of your order is not ready for despatch, we will send everything that is ready and then send out the other items as soon as they are available at no extra cost.
Part Deliveries
When you place your order you may pay a single delivery charge which is based on the value of your order or the number of items in your order.
Sometimes, however, your order may be despatched to you in a number of smaller deliveries when items are in stock in different warehouses or when part of your order is temporarily out of stock. On these occasions we want to get available items to you as soon as possible, rather than always wait for the whole order. There is no extra charge for these multiple deliveries.
Inside each delivery you will find a delivery note or receipt which indicates the number of items that are included in your order. It will also indicated whether your order is being despatched in more than one delivery.

Automatic information: we receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many websites, we use "cookies" and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses Eden.co.uk. A number of companies offer utilities designed to help you visit websites anonymously. Although we will not be able to provide you with a personalised experience at Eden.co.uk if we cannot recognise you, we want you to be aware that these tools exist.
E-mail communications: to help us make e-mails more useful and interesting, we often receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from Eden.co.uk if your computer supports such capabilities. We also compare our customer list to lists received from other companies in an effort to avoid sending unnecessary messages to our customers. If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please adjust your Customer Communication Preferences.
Information from other sources: we might receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information.
What About Cookies?
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognise your browser and to provide features such as personalised greetings and storage of items in your Shopping Basket between visits.
The Help menu on the menu bar of most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie and how to disable cookies altogether. However, cookies allow you to take full advantage of some of Eden.co.uk's most innovative and useful features and we recommend that you leave them turned on.
If you do leave cookies turned on, be sure to sign off when you finish using a shared computer.
Does Eden.co.uk Share the Information It Receives?
Information about our customers is an important part of our business and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only as described below.
Agents: we employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analysing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. Further, they must process the personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and as permitted by the UK's Data Protection Act.
Promotional offers: sometimes we send offers to selected groups of Eden.co.uk customers on behalf of other businesses. When we do this, we do not give that business your name and address. If you do not want to receive such offers, please adjust your Customer Communication Preferences.
Business transfers: as we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy stores, subsidiaries or business units. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice (unless, of course, the customer consents otherwise).
Protection of Eden.co.uk and others: we release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law, to enforce or apply our Conditions of Use and other agreements or to protect the rights, property or safety of Eden.co.uk, our users or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in a way that is contrary to the commitments made in this Privacy Notice.
With your consent: other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.
Whenever we transfer personal information to countries outside of the European Economic Area in the course of sharing information as set out above, we will ensure that the information is transferred in accordance with this Privacy Notice and as permitted by the UK's Data Protection Act.
How Secure Is Information About Me?
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of personally identifiable customer information. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when you finish using a shared computer.
What Information Can I Access?
Eden.co.uk gives you access to a broad range of information about your account and your interactions with Eden.co.uk. This list will change as our website evolves.

When you update information, we usually keep a copy of the previous version for our records.
If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please adjust your Communication Preferences. (If you do not want to receive Conditions of Use and other legal notices from us, such as this Privacy Notice, those notices will still govern your use of Eden.co.uk and it is your responsibility to review them for changes.)
The Help menu on the menu bar of most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie and how to disable cookies altogether.
