Hello Fear CD
Hello Fear CD by Kirk Franklin was published by Integrity Music in March 2011 and is our 1038th best seller. The ISBN for Hello Fear CD is 886977791727.
"Hello Fear" is the double top 2012 GRAMMY Award winner for ‘Best Gospel Album’ and ‘Best Gospel Song’ from Urban Gospel superstar Kirk Franklin.
With a new collection of Gospel music, Kirk Fanklin fearlessly explores a terrific range of Gospel sounds. From the urban bounce of tracks that dance (“Today”) all the way to the transcendent voices of pure choral (“Never Alone”). There’s deep worship in “But The Blood” and thorough Gospel in “The Alter” and “Something About The Name Of Jesus”.
This is not a bleak album. Sometimes a serious look back at fear and darkness, the tracks surge forward with all the courage and faith of moving out in grace. This is Kirk Franklin’s life story in music. Serious and sober when he needs to be, Kirk and his guest voices have a lightness of spirit and joy that bursts through in “I Smile” – a certain R&B nailed-down hit, and “A God Like You”.
“Hello Fear" songs are rooted in Kirk Franklin's desire for believers to shift their mindsets and confront whatever fear they might be avoiding. Second track, “The Story Of Fear” is Kirk’s own rhythmic narrative of his farewell to fear and hello to grace.
"Hello Fear" highlights include "Before I Die" - an Urban Gospel, adrenaline-pumping chant and "I Am" - an enticing ballad with an truly fresh melody. There's plenty of classic Franklin collaboration with Gospel luminaries Rance Allen, Beverly Crawford and Marvin Sapp as well as exciting talent such as Mali Music.

Customer Reviews
A deserving GRAMMY winner - not only for gospel, this is real grace in music - Les Ellison - in-house writer for Eden.co.uk
‘Hello Fear’ is more an ironic title than the mood of the album – which is absolutely upbeat and encouraging. ‘Hello Fear’ is a farewell to the prison of the past and a brave step into the freedom of the future. For me - neither a true gospel nor blues fan, I only listened to ‘Hello Fear’ because it won the 2012 GRAMMY for Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Song. I have to say that the range of music Kirk Franklin comes out with is a real surprise. There’s such variety in sound and rhythm yet he manages to stay faithful to his gospel and vocal heart. Listen to the sampler for ‘Never Alone’ and you’ll hear Kirk Franklin’s genuine talent and ability for serious choral music. And for real deep down worship, try ‘But the Blood’. And for true Gospel fans, there's another dozen tracks.
