Own or give the fast-paced and gripping romantic crime thriller featuring Dee Henderson's CSI heroine, Ann Silver.

When you see the name Dee Henderson on the spine of a life and death crime/romance thriller, you can be sure you're in for a read with a Christian heart that's as grabbing and gripping as anything a secular world novel has to offer. With well drawn characters and corkscrew plots she draws you into a world of deceit and deception that only truth and courage can conquer.

'Full Disclosure' introduces you to the exciting, life-and-death world of Ann Silver - Midwest Homicide Investigator. Silver is faced with solving a string of killings attributed to 'The Lady Shooter'  - a hired gun responsible for dozens of murders, but the trail is cold. Refusing to give up the hunt, Silver's path crosses Special Agent Paul Falcon when the best lead in the case appears seemingly out of nowhere. But it's not just the lead that interests her fellow, he also has a strong desire to get to know his clever partner better. But is he prepared for the secrets of both the case and Ann?

Bestselling writer Dee Henderson shows off her finely crafted heroine with this fast paced crime novel introducing new characters and a gripping plot line. As Paul begins to learn more about Ann Silver her mysterious past begins to unveil itself. When she decides to show him the 'John Doe Killer' case file, the pieces start to slot together. Dee Henderson has written 15 previous novels, including the critically acclaimed O'Malley series and Uncommon Heroes series. She writes Christian crime and suspense novels with romantic twists.

Crime/Mystery/Romance Novel!
- James Warwood (Eden.co.uk Writer)

Full Disclosure looks like a crime novel (from a glance of the stylish front cover), which it is, but not as I expected. It’s more mystery than thriller, and its more romance than mystery. So considering it’s my policy as the average man to never touch a romance novel, I didn’t hate it – in fact it got me hooked to the very end.

Dee Henderson has a knack for storytelling. The main characters, Ann Silver and Paul Falcon, are both cops who are intertwined by a case with many layers, twists and hidden secrets. She guides you through the story with a golden carrot dangling from a stick, tempting you to keep reading with little clues and hints to keep you coming back for more.

With her strong characters and gripping storyline, she’s been able to write a solid book. Although I did skip past some of the mushy parts (as I said before, not my cup of tea), overall the storyline and plot development was top-notch. Any readers who enjoy diving into the mind of a brilliant cop will thoroughly enjoy this book.

Slow readers – be warned! As I myself am a slow reader, I can tell you this book is a challenge. Almost 500 pages of font size 11 text make for a long read. But as I’ve said already the storyline never lingers but keeps pressing further and further into the mystery and the romance.

What I really liked about it most was the way Henderson wrote about the characters faith. It was never forced into the narrative and took a couple of chapters to even hear any mention of God. It’s a book that shows God working in the every-day lives of two very busy cops and doesn’t suffocate the storyline, for once.

Conclusion: not my kind of book, but Henderson is undoubtedly talented at her craft and you simply can’t knock her writing ability. Even though I shied away from the romantic element, I was still dragged into the book by the thrill of the chase, the solid relationships and likeable characters. It’s the kind of book I would buy for my sister, but not for my boss.

Henderson fans are a loyal bunch who will clamor for this title.
- Library Journal Review
FBI agent Paul Falcon is investigating a cold case involving a female assassin when Ann Silver, a homicide investigator based in the Midwest, visits him to drop off a case file that may pertain to his investigation. It’s a brief meeting, but it has a strong effect on Paul, who begins to pursue Ann. She’s not ready to settle down though, since she’s content with her life and with being single. Not to mention the secret she’s harboring. VERDICT Henderson’s fans have been waiting five years for this new thriller, but they may be disappointed. Though the characters are strong and the romance is intriguing, too much time is spent on the backstory, which slows the story down. Still, Henderson fans are a loyal bunch who will clamor for this title. Those who find themselves on the waiting list might enjoy Irene Hannon or Kathy Herman.

Publisher's Description

Ann Silver is a cop's cop. As the Midwest Homicide Investigator, she is called in to help local law enforcement on the worst of cases, looking for answers to murder. Hers is one of the region's most trusted investigative positions. Paul Falcon is the FBI's top murder cop in the Midwest. If the victim carried a federal badge or had a security clearance, odds are good Paul and his team see the case file or work the murder. Their lives intersect when Ann arrives to pass a case off her desk and onto his. A car wreck and a suspicious death offer a lead on a hired shooter he is tracking. Paul isn't expecting to meet someone, the kind that goes on the personal side of the ledger, but Ann Silver has his attention.

The better he gets to know her, the more Paul realises her job barely scratches the surface of who she is. She knows spies and soldiers and U.S. Marshals, and has written books about them. She is friends with the former vice president. People with good reason to be cautious about who they let into their lives deeply trust her. Paul wonders just what secrets Ann is keeping, until she shows him the John Doe Killer case file, and he starts to realise just who this lady he is falling in love with really is....

...

FROM THE INSIDE FLAP: "Officer Silver." The clerk nodded toward the man getting off the elevator. "There he is." She waited while Agent Paul Falcon passed through security. He was tall with authority in his stride, wearing a tailored business suit. She knew his reputation and what was on his desk. Despite his rank and seniority, he worked cases rather than lead a bureau office. He was as far from bureau politics as a murder cop could get, which made him the man who could help her. He was working on too much caffeine and too little sleep, she thought, noting the coffee mug in his hand and the grim tightness around his eyes.

But she'd spent too many days working without sleep herself to find it unusual. "Agent Falcon, this is Officer Ann Silver." She stepped aside in the lobby, opened her flight bag and removed two photos. She didn't bother to explain; she simply offered them. He took the photos. His watch looked expensive, and the ring was FBI Academy. She'd assumed he was married, yet his left hand was bare.
She saw the flare of heat in his eyes as he recognized the murders.

Eden Article: Dee Henderson On Writing 'Full Disclosure'

Dee Henderson, in interview with US Today, said “At its most basic Full Disclosure is a mystery and a romance. I enjoy writing about cops. With this story I wanted to portray the job that a cop's life really is - the cases keep coming to be solved, and if you're going to have a private life, space for it is going to have to be carved into the flow of work.

"I also like to write about falling in love. I decided to write a bit against type in this romance. From the beginning, Paul Falcon wants to get married and is looking for the right lady. Ann Silver is content being single and hasn't been thinking about marriage. It created a unique romance that I loved.

"And I enjoy writing about faith. What characters think about God, whether they believe or not, interests me. I'm not ready to say a manuscript is finished until I've figured out what I want the book to share about God. In Full Disclosure I explore how God is involved and interacting with us in our day-to-day lives."

Eden Article: Dee Henderson - An Impressive Portfolio

Dee Henderson is an author whose career has been marked by two great series: the O’Malley Family Series and the Uncommon Heroes Series. Below is a summary of each.

The O’Malley Family Series

The series currently includes six parts and one prequel. Published over a number of years, this series was the what propelled Dee to fame as a writer. Though she shuns the spotlight, the respect brought by this series has led to huge book sale statistics and supreme publisher confidence. Dee can look back on her successful career in engineering with fondness, but now she has established herself as a writer she won’t need to go back. The series itself follows the seven members of the O’Malley family, starting with FBI agent and hostage negotiator Kate in ‘The Negotiator’. This series is widely regarded to be Dee’s finest work.

The Uncommon Heroes Series

This series is presented in three parts, and has replicated the success of the O’Malley Family Series by proving popular with readers. The central characters in this series are Navy SEALs (yes, those who were sent to Pakistan to assassinate Bin Laden) - the result is three action-packed, tension-filled novels that stay true to reality while containing dramatic storylines.
