The Methodist Church is a mainstream Christian Church. It works in partnership with other denominations whenever possible. But there are certain emphases in the Methodist culture which make it distinctive. In mission we are motivated by the conviction that God calls us in his love to reach out into the community locally, nationally and internationally, believing the good news of Christ is for all. St. John's Methodist Church is part of the Amersham Methodist Circuit, now comprising a total of ten churches and a member of Churches on the Hill Amersham and also churches Together in Amersham & Chesham Bois.The Church supports and hosts a number of different activities on the premises throughout the week including Scouts, Guides, Exercise classes, women's fellowships and Toddler Group etc.
