Alexander Evangelical Church

Enjoy Christian fellowship at Alexander Road Evangelical Church, a Bible-based family church in the village of London Colney. Most of us live close to or within a couple of miles of the church; we are drawn from many walks of life and span all age ranges, including children and teenagers, as well as a significant number of actively-involved retired people. We recognise Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and our emphasis is on building a living relationship with Him. We strive to develop good relationships with each other and to follow Jesus’ command to be a positive influence in our community and neighbourhood. We maintain good links with the other churches in the village, as well as with various Christian organisations and friends from around the world. The Church, established by London Colney villagers nearly fifty years ago, provides many activities, including a regular Sunday evening gathering, prayer meetings, youth evenings and an afternoon parent-and-toddler group. We also have informal house groups that meet regularly in private homes. We warmly welcome anyone who is looking for a local church or who simply wants to find out more about the Christian faith.
