The Church of God of Prophecy,UK (COGOP UK) is a Christian fellowship in the Pentecostal and Evangelical traditions. Established in the UK in 1953 with 13 members in Bedford. The church grew with the migration to the UK of thousands from the Caribbean in the 1950s and 60s. Today COGOP UK is one of the largest Black-majority churches in the UK, with a presence in most major towns and cities and a growing multi-cultural membership. COGOP UK is part of Church of God of Prophecy Worldwide, established in 1903 and now represented in over 115 nations with more than 546,000 members.
