Product Description

Art is more than just beauty. Shape, colour and symmetry combine with technique and emotion to convey a snapshot of truth. That truth teaches, calms, stirs or reminds us of how things are, helping us reflect on what things might be.

Caveat emptor ! This is not a book !

Caveat emptor ! Buyer beware ! In itself, this is an interesting item, but please be aware it is a tiny LEAFLET not a book. It is a single folded sheet of paper, printed on both sides, measuring 16 and a half inches by 5 and a half inches. Hence the price, clearly ! I saw it on an email from Eden which included other "reduced price" bargains. In the past, I have received some excellent books from Eden in one of their similar "reduced price" email selections, and - having not read the small print on this one, which I have now seen does indeed describe it as a "tract" - I mistakenly thought that this was a book - as the other items on offer in that email actually were. The website at the time announced that there were "only 6 left" of this item. I see today(three days later) that there are now "only 3 left" - so I am not the only purchaser in this position. The only option for postage that was offered was either "next day delivery" or a slightly cheaper tracked 3-day delivery at £3.95, which I chose. Note to self: read the small print before ordering ! As I say, the leaflet, as a leaflet, has interesting content, but please be aware, before ordering, just what it is that you are ordering, and at such a postage price. I have bought many excellent books from Eden in the past, both full price and their "instant bargains". It will not put me off from buying from Eden again, but I will be far more aware now - and I'm posting this online review so that other readers will be aware also.
