Into the Enemy's Camp

Within the present-day Body of Christ there is a great need to not only develop an awareness of spiritual warfare, but also to learn how to understand who and what it is we are fighting against. The real truth is that we are engaged in battle every day of our lives, even if we don't see or feel the spiritual pressure. There are so many myths about the devil, and sadly there aren't enough churches teaching the truth about how he and his defeated demonic hosts fight against the Saints of God.

Who is the devil, really? How did he go from being the praise and worship leader of Heaven to the father of all lies, becoming the temporary ruler of this world? What of the one-third of the angels that were swooped up with him and cast out of Heaven? What functions and limitations do they have, and how do they operate against us today?

In this enlightening book, we will delve into Scripture to discover the origins and timeline of these events. You will discover the differences in either origin or function between fallen angels, unclean & evil spirits, demons, the Watchers of Genesis 6 that took wives for themselves, the Nephilim, and the spiritual background and identity of ghosts.

Knowing and understanding your enemy is a key component in addition to your faith in Christ and His victory over the enemy at the Cross. While the war was won, we still have to actively engage the battles to keep ourselves in the heart of God and do the works He has commissioned us to do. There is a lost and dying world out there, and the enemy seeks to keep his hold on them. We must know of his tactics and strategies, being wise as serpents yet gentle as doves - relying on the Holy Spirit to lead us in each way we should go, and in how we should fight each battle and storm we face in day-to-day life.

This book will help you understand your enemy, and give you insight into the battles of the future from biblical prophecy, and give you wisdom to prepare for the end times that lay ahead of us.

about sin and the consequences of evil. Perhaps the most overlooked point is that the devil is a real enemy, and he desires to destroy us - because we are precious in God's sight.

Whether we want to believe we are engaged in a spiritual battle or not, doesn't change its reality and outcome. We know Jesus came to offer salvation to us so that we can be reconciled back to God and make Heaven our home. It is true that God is a God of love and peace, and that He desires and shows mercy. It is also true that God is a God of wrath and judgment, that since the beginning He has purposed to punish evil and the wicked; because He is holy.

Too often we get a mixed message and it is either one or the other. Not enough people are receiving a balanced message of who God is and what He stands for - taking the entirety of the Bible into context. We have an adversary that accuses us before God day and night, one who uses spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places to attack, oppress and bind us so that we cannot freely fulfill the purpose that God has for our lives.

What I hope to convey through this book is the knowledge and understanding of who Lucifer was before he fell from Heaven, and the reason he was found guilty of sin, and why he was cast out of Heaven with one-third of the angels. I want to establish the differences (either in origin or function) between fallen angels, the Watchers from Genesis 6, demons, evil spirits, and ghosts; explaining what their function and purposes are and why we are engaged in a war against them. Lastly, I want to provide the reader with information they can research themselves and come to their conclusions in prayer. I encourage you to pray and invite the Holy Spirit with you as you read, and ask for His truth to be made known to you as you study.
