The neglect of our young ones in the worship of God has been a deadly error that remains one of the major mistakes of the 21st-century church. The noise, jamboree, and partying have steadily increased (the church thinks that it is the strategy to win the younger generation) while the appropriate attention required by the junior church continued to decline sharply. All through the scriptures, God clearly stated how He desires to be worshipped. His standards are neither ambiguous nor hidden from those who care to search the scriptures through the help of God's Holy Spirit (the interpreter of the Holy Writ and the Vicar of the Church). After the early church faced intense persecution but only grew more by it, the enemy realized that it would be impossible to drive the church out of the world; since then his approach has been to drive the world into the church so that he can infiltrate and pollute the church. Guess what! He's done that so well and now, at these end times, thinking that further secularising the church to suit our children will be the key to evangelizing them won't work. The strategy started a while ago, judging from the products made through it, many of whom are back in the world while a large chunk of the products remained in-house to wreak havoc on the biblical standards of God's worship; it is time to look again and make amends where needed. If we continue to turn a blind eye to restructuring the Junior Church, posterity will judge us. God forbids that, there is no one left to worship God by His Spirit and as His word dictates. The disco lights, choreographers, jesters, and comedy and business school brought to the pulpit have given prominence to mammon and carnality at the expense of our souls. The corporations cannot send to the church for those church 'approved' and 'guaranteed' brethren with integrity to work with them because our 'integrity and honesty have been replaced with testimonies of corruption and infidelity! A preacher guaranteeing means nothing and dressing like a preacher to board a flight only subjects us to more scrutiny. This filth is eating us from our souls to our bodies. Christian Discipleship for The Junior Church is written because we need to preserve our God's worship in the coming generation's lives. It is the legacy we must restore before our time here is over.
