      The purpose of this book is to inform its readers of an approach to strength training which is far more efficient, productive, and safer than the conventional strength training approaches of today. In the mid 1970s, Jim Christian, a high school teacher and football coach, learned about a new and unusual way to strength train after visiting a nearby private fitness center.
