Releasing The Entrepreneur In You: A New Frontier For Christian Women

She is seen as a strong woman. One that holds the family together. She is resourceful, and has the answers to almost everything. She is the mother, wife, daughter, friend, hard worker and Sunday School teacher— you name it and that’s her. But she struggles with taking that next step to become an entrepreneur. She struggles with the very idea that this journey would mean time to work on her and what God has called her to do. She doubts her ability to walk a path mostly unknown to Christian women and even more so minority Christian women. She worries about being accepted by her family and church community as an entrepreneur, a business woman. She draws back when she thinks of the opposition that she will face.

In the end she comes to grips with the uniqueness of her walk. She accepts that if she wants to live a fulfilled life she has to follow what she knows deep in her heart is the will of God for her.
She positions herself for greatness. She has committed herself to the rigors of learning how to start and run a business. Her efforts are undergirded by prayer and believing that God will see her through. She also recognizes that she is not alone. There are other Christian women walking their walk alongside her. They will be experiencing the same trials and pushbacks that she is experiencing but this gives her strength for the journey.

She has stepped out in faith. She has finally recognized that the frontier for Christian women entrepreneurs have changed. The boundaries have been extended and she is part of this change. She is now saying ‘Me Too’ to the divine call to the marketplace.
