Significance of the SYMBOLIC

The seven chapters of "The Significance of the Symbolic" capture heavenly and spiritually significant symbols from the Bible. Faith, Oil, the Temple, Communion, and the Cross, as well as Passover (which was revealed to the author, Francis Elimimian, separately), are significant symbols because they reveal God's mind on earth and in the afterlife.

It's worth noting that God, by means of the Holy Spirit's indwelling, gives the author the ability to use appropriate biblical references and language to simplify the concept of the symbolic for the sake of effective understanding. From the meaning of the anointing oil to the definition of faith in Hebrews 11:1 (KJV): "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." And then there's Christ's own institution of Communion. To emphasize the continuity of the bond He seeks to forge with believers, Jesus instructed His followers to do this ritual repeatedly.

Nevertheless, the author, with the help of the Holy Spirit, has done an excellent job of not scuffing the revelation given to him during his tour. With the help of the Holy Spirit's anointing, he has also endeavored to clarify the message for anyone with an open mind. Therefore, studying this book and being receptive to the Holy Spirit's touch are appropriate ways to gain a profound understanding of what God expects from us as humans through the use of the symbolic. This is due to the fact that nobody can afford to ignore any of the meanings represented by the symbols.
