The Casting Crowns are an award winning contemporary Christian rock band that started in 1999. Lead vocalist and previous youth pastor Mark Hall first started the Casting Crowns in Florida, that originally were part of a youth group and Christian student worship band. The Casting Crowns have had 8 chart topping radio hits and have received a Grammy award, and American music award and 23 Dove Awards. The Casting Crowns sing Christian messages of faith of their love for god and people. Some members of the band currently work as ministers.

The Casting Crowns have also become a community in the Christian world that has grown to be popular nationwide. Their main motto is to spread their message of faith and to connect with people and help that connect with others. Their music is inspiring to many and is great for any celebration or Christian worship classes.

The Casting Crowns spread their message of faith nationwide by trips to areas of poverty. Recently led vocalist and band founder Mark Hill visited Rwanda to give hope to those suffering.

The Casting Crowns Lead singer and his wife have recently visited china with their family as they have adopted a little girl called Hope.
